Katy Family Homes Preferred Lenders
One only needs to watch the news to see the importance of doing his or her research on mortgages and home loans before buying a home. The papers are full of homes for sale that have been foreclosed on by the banks or defaulted on by the buyer. This is a sign to all of us that we should pay particular attention to our finances when it comes to mortgages and lenders. Let me make one thing clear from the start: the mortgage crisis that America is faced with right now, is not all the lender's fault. The blame falls in part on different ones of us. First and foremost, the borrowers who should practice some due diligence before signing on the dotted line for a home loan. Borrowers that have found themselves in a mortgage mess, should have sought the advice of an honest real estate professional and leaned on them for their expertise. It is certainly not however, all the fault of the borrowers.
Many of these buyers with mortgage difficulties in America today, went to professionals seeking advice and counsel as to what home to purchase, what loan to use and simply enough, if they could afford a home at all. The vast majority of these buyers found realtors, mortgage brokers, lenders, title representatives and other professionals that gave them sound fiscal advice and performed their fiduciary responsibilities as they should, ethically. However, many of these buyers did not find such ethical counsel and, due to the fact that these buyers did not get good advice, or did not listen, they are now facing or have already faced losing their homes.
Make no mistake about it, if you are going to be buying a home for sale, or selling a home for that matter, you need good advice! And yes, it is worth the money! Katy Family Homes takes their fiduciary responsibilty seriously when it comes to their clients. We at Katy Family Homes understand your need for expert counsel throughout the entire buying or selling process. This is why we do not claim to be the sole expert on all of the many facets of real estate. We have an solid understanding of each of these facets, of course, but we also work closely with others who are involved in the home-buying or home-selling process to orchastrate a low-stress real estate transaction. This involves showing buyers various homes for sale, or selling seller's homes that are also for sale; it involves setting up and working with inspectors to better etermine the condition of the home; it involves a continuous dialogue with the lender of the buyer to ensure everything is on track for the loan to close; it involves communicating with the title company being used to close the transaction and insure the title on the property; it involves all of these major things and more. Katy Family Homes is very good at what we do and we are also very good at knowing who else is very good at what they do. That is why you will not see us flippantly handing out countless referrals to people. We MUST trust our affiliates first, especially in the area of finances. Buyer Saving Tip #1
We do not write our clients loans for this simple reason: we feel that this is a conflict of interest and violates our code of ethics. Again, our job is to help our clients buy and sell homes. It is also to work closely with the other parties who are involved in the home-buying or home-selling process to orchastrate a low-stress real estate transaction for our client. Having said all of this, we do work with the following mortgage professionals often and feel comfortable offering them to assist you with your home loan. If you have your own mortgage professional that you are already working with and that you trust, that is fine. We can work with almost anyone and look forward to developing a positive relationship with them as well. If you have not yet decided on a mortgage lender to close your loan, we encourage you to give these three real estate professionals a call and allow them the opportunity to see if they are a fit for you. You can trust them!
