The property taxes incurred in Kelliwood are quite a bit lower than other areas, and the home owner’s association fees are extremely attractive.
Kelliwood differs from many other home developments in one key area; the original design took a very community focused approach. Towards these ends, many Katy neighborhoods were created, some, like the golfing and lakeside communities are themed. All older neighborhoods now benefit from mature parkland, offering substantially more natural charm than the newly landscaped equivalents, found in the newer estates. Indeed, Kelliwood has literally grown, into a lush, healthy, natural environment that is enjoyed daily by its residents.
